The entrepreneurial energy of Indore was electrifying at TiECon MP 2024, held on September 20-21. The event saw remarkable participation from entrepreneurs, investors, and innovators from across the country, making it a dynamic hub for networking and collaboration.

The whole day was power-packed with insights as the keynote speakers – Dr. Pravin Bhagwat (Founder 14tree orgs), Mr. Neeraj Roy (Co-founder Hungama) and Mr. Shantanu Desphande (Founder Bombay Shaving Company) – captivated the audience.

Sunil Goyal (YourNest), Narendra Bhandari (Seafund), Sushil Sharma (Marwari Catalysts), Yagnesh Sanghrajka (100X.VC) revealed “The investor lens of entrepreneurship” in their panel discussion.

TiE leadership consisting of Kiran Deshpande (TiE Global Board Member), Mahavir Pratap Sharma (Chair, TiE India Angels), Murali Bukkapatnam (TiE Global Vice Chair and Board of Trustees) and Muralidhar Suryanarayan (TiE Benguluru) showcased the “bridge to going global with TiE” to the aspirational entrepreneurs.

A key highlight was ESV’s pivotal investment moment, where we handed over a cheque of ₹3 Cr to Pratish Raj, the founder of Machaxi, a leading multi-sport chain. This investment exemplifies our commitment to supporting scalable ventures in India’s emerging startup ecosystems.

Rahul Vaidya, our marketing expert and advisor, led a fireside chat with Shantanu Deshpande, founder of Bombay Shaving Company. The conversation delved deep into brand-building strategies and consumer insights, emerging as one of the standout sessions of the event.

Rahul was also associated with the TiE Women Programme hosted by TiE MP Chapter. He mentored all the participants for both the rounds of semi-finals and finals. The winner qualified for the Global Competition to be held at Bengaluru in Dec 2024.

Our partner, Nikhil Kaushik, chaired an insightful panel on startup investments, shedding light on common misconceptions and guiding new investors and budding entrepreneurs on the path to success.

I had the honor of engaging with a panel of global experts, discussing how innovation is the key to driving value creation in today’s business landscape. It was a privilege to exchange ideas with speakers like Alvydas Naujėkas, Dheeraj Jain, Zubin Jimmy Dubash, and Dr. Rohit Toshniwal, further strengthening international ties in the entrepreneurial space.
